Mr. Makarov
Religious studies and biology teacher, Kharkiv
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Orchid Grammar School
- 2017 to 2025
- English, French
I taught religious studies at Orchid Grammar School in Kharkiv from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Makarov: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
