Mr. Maina
Taught chemistry at Dar es Salaam Academy
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Dar es Salaam Academy
- 1982 to 1992
- English, French
Dar es Salaam Academy was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1982 to 1992, mostly teenagers.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Maina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me chemistry in 1996 at Dar es Salaam Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on

You taught me chemistry in 2014 at Dar es Salaam Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
