Mr. Maina
Environmental science and geography teacher, Mbarara
- 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
- Mbarara Middle School
- 2000 to 2016
- English, French
Mbarara Middle School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 2000 to 2016, mostly Year 7.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Maina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Maina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
