I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Maina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me physical education in 1992 at Silverlake Boys' School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

you taught me physical education in 1998 at Silverlake Boys' School. I still remember that terrible school play. Thank you again.
