I taught economics at Ashford Secondary School in Giza from 2005 to 2019. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
