Mr. Mahlangu
13 years teaching music in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Since 1991
- English, Zulu
I teach music at Soweto Grammar School in Soweto since 1991. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mahlangu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me music in 2016 at Soweto Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2018. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Tema.
