Mr. Mahendra

16 years teaching art in Makassar

🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
Makassar Public School
Since 2016
English, Indonesian

I teach art at Makassar Public School in Makassar since 2016. Most days I teach Year 9, and my door is open at lunch. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Mahendra

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mahendra: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
