I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Mahawong
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Mahawong: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2020. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Bornova.
