Mr. Magsaysay
Drama teacher at Sunrise Public School, 1996 to 2022
- 🇵🇭 Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- Sunrise Public School
- 1996 to 2022
- English, French
For 26 years I was the drama teacher at Sunrise Public School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Magsaysay
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Magsaysay: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me drama in 2025 at Sunrise Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
