Mr. Magsaysay
Environmental science teacher at Heritage Secondary School, Since 2008
- 🇵🇭 Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines
- Heritage Secondary School
- Since 2008
- English, Filipino
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Magsaysay
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Magsaysay: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 2014 at Heritage Secondary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
