Mr. Macías
25 years teaching music in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Middle School
- 1994 to 2011
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Macías
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Macías: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2003 at San Francisco Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Truly.

I was in your teenagers class in 2020. You believed I could do it before I did! Thank you again.

You taught me music in 2011 at San Francisco Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
