Mr. Macharia
36 years teaching history in Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Heritage Academy
- Since 2014
- English, Swahili
I teach history at Heritage Academy in Kisumu since 2014. Most days I teach teenagers, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Macharia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
