I teach religious studies at Bayview Secondary School in Manila since 1988. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
