Mr. Lyimo
37 years teaching Spanish in Nakuru
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- Since 1983
- English
For 43 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Nakuru Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Lyimo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Lyimo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
