Mr. Lyimo
Taught physical education at Frangipani Middle School
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Frangipani Middle School
- 1993 to 2023
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Mr. Lyimo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lyimo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
