Mr. Lubis
Music and statistics teacher, Semarang
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Silverlake Girls' School
- Since 1996
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Lubis
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me music in 2017 at Silverlake Girls' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
