I teach social studies at St. Joseph's Public School in Wellington since 1988. Most days I teach Year 9, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lopez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
