Mr. Lopes
Statistics teacher at Mount Pleasant Grammar School, Since 1992
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Mount Pleasant Grammar School
- Since 1992
- English, Portuguese, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Lopes
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lopes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
