Mr. Long
Retired chemistry teacher from Tampa High School
- 🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States
- Tampa High School
- 1993 to 2013
- English
I taught chemistry at Tampa High School in Tampa from 1993 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Mr. Long
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Long: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 2013 at Tampa High School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

I'm a police officer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Muzaffarpur.
