Mr. Lombard
Spanish and economics teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Since 1978
- English, Zulu
For 48 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Johannesburg Middle School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Lombard
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Lombard: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 1978 at Johannesburg Middle School. I still remember the end-of-term party

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1988. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Jakarta.
