I taught chemistry at Eastgate Public School in Seoul from 2013 to 2025. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
