Mr. Liao
Social studies and design and technology teacher, San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Hope Primary School
- 1993 to 2024
- English, Mandarin
I taught social studies at Hope Primary School in San Jose from 1993 to 2024. Most days I taught Year 10, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 870 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Liao: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 10 class in 2020. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Duque de Caxias.
