Mr. Lewis
15 years teaching history in Toronto
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- St. Mary's Secondary School
- Since 1995
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Lewis
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Lewis: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2013 at St. Mary's Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
