Mr. Lestari
21 years teaching design and technology in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Girls' School
- Since 1982
- English, Indonesian
For 44 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Jakarta Girls' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Lestari
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lestari: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
