I taught English literature and social studies at Jakarta Girls' School, Jakarta. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

You taught me English literature in 1996 at Jakarta Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
