I taught computer science at Baobab Middle School in Dallas from 1986 to 1998. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
