Mr. Lemma
History teacher at Jimma Public School, 1986 to 2018
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Public School
- 1986 to 2018
- English
I taught history at Jimma Public School in Jimma from 1986 to 2018. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Lemma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lemma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
