Mr. Legesse
Retired social studies teacher from Pioneer High School
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- 1993 to 2021
- English, Amharic
I taught social studies and physical education at Pioneer High School, Addis Ababa. I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Legesse
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Legesse: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
