Mr. Lawrence
37 years teaching economics in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Maple Ridge Grammar School
- Since 2003
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Lawrence
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lawrence: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
