Mr. Lara
Teacher at Oakwood Academy, loves accounting
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States

I teach accounting at Oakwood Academy in Oakland since 1985. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Lara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
