Mr. Lara
Social studies and geography teacher, Rochester
- 🇺🇸 Rochester, Minnesota, United States
- Rochester Middle School
- 1995 to 2018
- English
For 23 years I was the social studies teacher at Rochester Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Lara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me social studies in 2012 at Rochester Middle School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Greetings from San Francisco.
