Mr. Lara
Chemistry and history teacher, Guadalupe
- 🇲🇽 Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Brookfield Technical College
- 1991 to 2000
- Spanish
I taught chemistry at Brookfield Technical College in Guadalupe from 1991 to 2000. Most days I taught Year 7, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Lara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Lara: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
