For eleven years I was the special education teacher at Coyoacán Boys' School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mr. Lara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
