For 22 years I have been the economics teacher at Birmingham Girls' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Lambert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Lambert: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
