I taught religious studies at Hồ Chí Minh City Public School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 1996 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Lam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
