Mr. Kwak
History and Spanish teacher, Mapo
- 🇰🇷 Mapo, Seoul, South Korea
- Mapo Technical College
- 1983 to 1994
- Korean
For eleven years I was the history teacher at Mapo Technical College. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Kwak
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Kwak: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
