Mr. Kusuma
Physical education and home economics teacher, Semarang
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Redwood Boys' School
- 1978 to 2014
- English, Indonesian
I taught physical education at Redwood Boys' School in Semarang from 1978 to 2014. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Kusuma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kusuma: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
