I taught history at Sakura Girls' School in Jakarta Selatan from 2010 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kusuma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
