I taught early years and environmental science at Kilimanjaro Public School, Ubud. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
