I taught music and mathematics at Accra Girls' School, Accra. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
