I taught statistics at Accra Public School in Accra from 1990 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
