Mr. Kumar
Art and drama teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai High School
- Since 1979
- English, Hindi, Spanish
For 47 years I have been the art teacher at Mumbai High School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Kumar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Kumar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2004 at Mumbai High School. I still remember that terrible school play
