Mr. Kumar
18 years teaching home economics in Chennai
- 🇮🇳 Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Chennai Middle School
- Since 1980
- English, Tamil
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kumar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me home economics in 2017 at Chennai Middle School. I still remember that terrible school play.
