Mr. Ku
French and special education teacher, Gangnam
- 🇰🇷 Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea
- Gangnam Middle School
- Since 1999
- English, Korean
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Ku
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ku: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
