Silverlake High School is my second home. I teach English literature there since 2005, mostly Year 7.
Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Kovalenko
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kovalenko: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
