Mr. Kovalchuk
Spanish and English literature teacher, Yekaterinburg
- 🇷🇺 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia
- Yekaterinburg Grammar School
- Since 1992
- English, Russian, Spanish
I teach Spanish at Yekaterinburg Grammar School in Yekaterinburg since 1992. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Kovalchuk
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kovalchuk: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
