Mr. Kirby
Design and technology and computer science teacher, Toronto
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Hope Middle School
- 1983 to 2021
- English
For 38 years I was the design and technology teacher at Hope Middle School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Kirby
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
