I taught economics at Dar es Salaam Boys' School in Dar es Salaam from 1985 to 2011. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
