Mr. King
English literature and design and technology teacher, Gold Coast
- 🇦🇺 Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- 2002 to 2015
- English, Spanish
I taught English literature at Gold Coast Public School in Gold Coast from 2002 to 2015. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. King: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
