Mr. Kimura
Taught biology at Tokyo Public School
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Public School
- 2008 to 2024
- English, Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Kimura
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kimura: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
